Description
Tired of having to work your way through that annoying dropdown menu every time you want to check something on a different map? Then WoWMap is for You! It makes the map in Runes of Magic feel more like the map in World of Warcraft for easier handling and displays maps inside of instances as well.
Features
- Easy Handling:
Switch from one map to another with an easy to use interface:- Leftclick an Icon on the map to switch directly to that map. i.e. you can change to the map of the forsaken abbey by clicking its icon on the map of silverspring.
- Rightclick somewhere on the map, to "zoom out" of that region. i.e. if you are viewing the map of Varanas, you would switch to the map of silverspring.
- the old functions of the map are still available, you just have to hold down the shift key on your keyboard to perform them.
- Maps inside instances
I cannot tell why this doesn't work in Runes of Magic, so this solves that problem. All known instances will be displayed correctly!
SlimClient users need WoWMap_Instances

We added some custom maps to fill the gap Runes of Magic did. (world map, Dalanis,...)
- Points-Of-Interest
It has an easy interface for addon developers to add custom icons to the maps.
We recommend our side project: WoWMap-POI ( it is required to disjoin quest and dailyquest npc-icons on custom maps )
Installation
Unpack the Archive and move the Folder "WoWMap" into "Runes of Magic\Interface\Addons". If this is your first Addon, then these folders won't exist, in that case you have to create them manually. After you have done this, just start the game as you always do. After login, you should see a line in the Chatwindow, informing you that the addon has been loaded. If you want to update to a newer version, just replace the Folder "WoWMap" with the new one, thats all thats necessary.
If you are using the CurseClient, you dont have to care about anything, everything will be done automatically.
Localizations
WoWMap should work on every client with every possible language. But as we only using german and english, We cannot test that, so Please contact us, if there is a problem with your language!
Known Issues
- if you open the map in 'no map' zones (like house) quest icons of your last displayed map will be visible
- world-search & group members are not displayed in custom maps (like dalanis)

Beschreibung
Keine Lust mehr, dich jedes mal durch das lästige Dropdown-Menü zu kämpfen, wenn du mal eben etwas auf einer anderen Karte nachsehen möchtest? Dann ist WoWMap für dich! Es passt die Bedienung der Kartenfenster von Runes of Magic an jene von World of Warcraft an für eine einfachere Bedienung und stellt außerdem Karten von Instanzen dar.
Features
- Einfache Bedienung:
Wechseln von einer Karte zur anderen durch einfach zu bedienende Schnittstellen:- Linksklick auf ein Symbol auf der Karte wechselt die Karte direkt zu dieser Zone. Beispielsweise kann man direkt zur Karte der Verlassenen Abtei wechseln, wenn man das entsprechende Symbol auf der Karte von Silberquell anklickt.
- Rechtsklick irgendwo im Kartenfenster zoomt die Karte heraus, also wechselt beispielsweise bei Betrachtung der Karte von Varanas nach Silberquell.
- die bisherigen Funktionen sind immer noch vorhanden, man muss dafür lediglich die Umschalt-Taste gedrückt halten.
- Karten im Inneren von Instanzen
Es ist mir ein Rätsel, weshalb das in Runes of Magic nicht grundsätzlich funktioniert, WoWMap behebt diesen Mangel jedenfalls. Alle bekannten Instanzen werden korrekt dargestellt!
SlimClient Nutzer brauchen zusätzlich: WoWMap_Instances
- Zusätzliche Karten
Wir haben einpaar eigene Karten hinzugefügt, um das Karten-Design abzurunden (Kontinent-Übersicht, Dalanis,...)
- Points-Of-Interest
Es gibt eine einfache Schnittstelle für Addon-Entwickler um eigene Icons zur Karte hinzuzufügen.

Installation
Entpacke das Archiv und verschiebe den darin enthalteten Ordner "WoWMap" nach "Runes of Magic\Interface\Addons". Sollte dies dein erstes Addon sein, wird es diese Verzeichnisse nicht geben, in diesem Fall musst du sie selbst anlegen. Nachdem du das getan hast, starte das Spiel ganz normal, dann solltest du über eine Nachricht im Chat auf die Installation hingewießen werden. Wenn du später auf eine neuere Version updaten willst, ersetzte diesen Ordner mit dem neuen, mehr ist nicht notwendig.
Wenn du den CurseClient benutzt, musst du dich um gar nichts kümmern, in diesem Fall geschieht alles automatisch.
Lokalisierung
WoWMap sollte auf jedem Client mit jeder verfügbaren Sprache funktionieren, aber da ich nur Deutsch und Englisch benutze, kann ich es nicht testen, also Kontaktiert mich bitte, wenn es Probleme mit deiner Sprache gibt!

My message to the creators of adonna. Not sure if you have vozmozhnosti, but do not work the last 2 cards on the Russian version of the game Runes Of Magic. Namely Wailing Fjord and Jungle of Hortek. Just a dark screen.
I would be grateful, if will be able to fix it.

------------Guten Tag an alle. Mein Appell an die Macher von Adonia. Nicht sicher, wenn Sie eine haben, es könnte aber nicht funktionieren die letzten 2 Karten auf dem russischen Version des Spiels Runes Of Magic. Nämlich Klage Fjord und der Dschungel von Hortek. Nur ein leerer Bildschirm. Ich wäre dankbar, wenn wir sie beheben können.

yvwiya Jan 30, 2013 at 21:08 UTC - 0 likesAddon is not compatible with the map of the new zone since latest patch. It will show Rorazan instead. Only way to see new map is to uninstall this addon.

Das mit dem "../worldmap/rw/" ist schon richtig so.
Das Problem kommt durch den SlimClient.
Muß ich noch genauer untersuchen, aber vermutlich wird es auf eine neue Version von WoWMap_instances hinauslaufen.

For allem ist meine Installation unter: ...Runes of Magic\Interface\Addons\WoWMap
und nicht dort wo anhand des Screenshots WoWMap sie zu suchen scheint: Interface/WorldMap/rw/dgn_cavern_of_trials/
