ZZInfoBar is a addon that displays a bar on your screen, which is able to display any kind of information. The addon does not provide any feature out of the box that has nothing to do with the informationbar itself. Usually informationbars also show information users do not want to see. ZZInfoBar solves this problem the clean way. Instead of hiding the button that displays the inforation but still let it consume preformance and memory space, ZZInfoBar removes it enirely* from the game and deativates all of it's functionality.

(*)If you remove a previously activated button in a running game session it may be that some bits and pieces are still in the memory, even though not available. If you start your next game session this button has never existed because it won't be created nor it's functionality gets activated

Available functions

ZZInfoBar itself is only the core that implements the nice plugin functions for buttons, button tooltips, dropdowns, tools, etc... Because of that the functionality of the Standard Plugins Pack that gets shipped with the ZZInfoBar download is listed here. Every button that is displayed can be freely moved around by holding shift + right mouse button. So don't worry on the first start if everything is shown at one spot.

  • a list of all online friends in a dropdown with shortcuts for whisper and invite

  • automaticly shows your last summoned pet
  • toggle the shown pet
  • the name of your pet
  • the level of your pet
  • the loyality and hunger of your pet
  • quickly feed your pet with (Ctrl, Alt) + left / right click
  • quickly summon and return your pet

  • the current time
  • current date
  • the duration of your current game session

  • number of new unread mails
  • audio notification (toggable)

  • allows selection of previously (since installation) in the title frame activated titles in a dropdown. So activate all your wished title once there

Configuration

With a left click on the "gear" button on the left side of the bar the quick acess dropdown openes. At the very bottom of it is a button that lets you access ZZInfoBars settings. With a right click on the same button you open the plugins dropdown which let's you access your plugins configuration, if available.

.os-Fix

The ZZInfoBar core does not need any .os-Fix addon and the ZZTimeNDate Plugin in the Standard Plugins Pack has it's own fix (MorphClock library) implemented.

About plugins

Plugins are a great new feature of ZZInfoBar v2. They are dynamically created and are able to show text based nearly all information available in the game. They are only created and updated if needed which helps ZZInfoBar to consume as less power as possible. Plugins for ZZInfoBar are very fast and easy to write.
